Mighty Meg Concert

Our very own 2012 Benefit Concert for Mighty Meg happened this past weekend. We had so many people come together to make this special night happen.

We are full of gratitude to all of you who made the concert so successful. Josh & Meg were able to enjoy both nights of the concert. To be in their presence was such a humbling experience. What great examples of hope, strength, endurance, humility, life, and love.

The community came together and in 2 nights with everyone's hard work and soft hearts we raised $9,935. With the additional fundraiser throughout the year the grand total raised for Meg was $13,488! Wow! We had a goal of $10,000 grand total and surpassed that! The lord is amazing! Meg has been offered some more hope to fight her cancer. We will be right behind her encouraging her every step of the way. Even though the concert has passed, we will always keep our mighty Meg in our prayers. 

"My heart is full from the love shown to me by the talent of kalamity and kaos tonight! what a wonderful night of music & dancing. the voice talents of tias dad clayton auquin sr., josh larsen, mikalene ipson were awesome! the song written just for me by josh larsen still brings me to tears. they all put in all these insane hours to make a perfect show for me... what a very humbling night full of love and tears. i felt like a celebrity as all the dancers wanted to talk to me, hug me, and let me know how hard they had practiced. from kalamity down to their little girls & boys hip hop i truly felt loved! thank you everyone who came out and supported the concert tonight and those who donated to make this happen!! but most important a special thanks to tia who made this all happen- she is a great example of being christlike and serving others through talent or what ever way you can! thankyou tia!" written by Meg.
